Then Jesus Showed Up is a journey not to be measured. For how far is it to one's heart? For the hallway of hell has no end when the heart knows where not to start. Thus the heart is moved. From the hallway of hell to the store in heaven, from the chasm to the mountaintop, from the field to a thousand acres, and the sea an anchor to the boat. This is just the beginning; hope is the food of the heart and a seven-course meal is to be served. In reading this book, a sea of pain shall be released and a thousand roses will bloom. As we are taken to the deepest places. The soul of man shall be revealed, thus a flood shall come from this place removing the mask he wears. As love is life, the woman who opens this book shall see her heart. Thus, she shall weep, letting her river run. This shall rust away the chains of yesterday. The journey is finished though it has only started. For when one lives in the heart, they are free from the mind. |

Then It Rained - Poetry from the Heart to Heal the Mind is a book about the birth of joy. Pain comes in birth, but birth gives joy upon arrival. Christian Poetry has always been a part of lives of men and women of faith. The Book of Ecclesiastes, about vanity, is very poetic. Also, the Psalms, Proverbs, and Jeremiah are poetic. I have found joy in this place, the heart; to be so close to God and to have intimacy with Him as Lord, Savior, Father, and Friend. Christian Poetry weaves the heart together with the soul and the mind; has brought me into one accord within my own temple that lies within, for there are many streams in a man though only one well of truth that the springs come from. With Christian Poetry Of The Heart, I drink not from the streams, but from the well... for the well quenches all thirst. The streams feed the oak so that it may grow. Upon this journey, many battles have been fought though none lost in the eyes of my God. What I think as lost is for naught, for when Satan thinks he has had his greatest day in victory, it is for naught. It will become a great testimony for the Kingdom of God. Joy is birthed in pain though tribulation brings joy. Where one has not seen the pain of life, one has not lived. To have victories in Christ, one must go to battle with him. Christian Poetry Of The Heart is a part of that battle; just one of the great weapons in the arsenal of God. Pick up your armor and go to battle. The armor of God is as water; strong when used as a weapon, strong when used to cleanse, and strong to hold one up when one is still. To strike water with a sword is for naught. To write poetry, or to read poetry about the Lord, is to strike the Heart, mind, and soul. May the battles the Lord has lead me through give thee strength. He awaits; follow Him. He calls; love Him. He beckons; seek rest in him for he protects. This I have found to be true. Poetry Of The Heart is as a harp to the soul. May you enjoy reading the few samples, or the whole book, and may the Lord bring joy to your heart, soul, and mind. Samples From The Book - Click Here |

Matthew Geraci was born in Southern California. As a child, he always knew something was wrong. He wore a smile though he was never happy. Growing up as a teenager was a living hell. He ran from everything though he escaped from nothing. God had sent a thousand angels and he had replied, "No" a thousand times. Beatings, molestations, drugs, alcohol, and mental wards. He was a dead man who survived until the day he spiritually died when a car hit him going over one hundred miles per hour. Then Jesus Christ Showed Up. To this day, He does not survive, He lives. He is a content, happy child of Jesus now living in Washington State, sharing the peace and love of Jesus Christ.
Will the war ever end, shall peace ever come?Yes, the war is won though the battle is fought. Joy comes in the morning, victory comes in the day. For we are in the hand of an awesome God. May he be the guide to all our ways, from birth to rest. Let none steal from you as a thief; it was not given by them. Therefore let them not take it, nor give them an inch. Surely they will come, as the moon rises. Some as men or women, others in their cloaks, for the principalities wear not the flesh of men. ~ Matthew A. Geraci |
